Almost everything that makes Sonic stronger in Sonic Frontiers is a pickup. Red Seeds of Power and Blue Seeds of Defense go to the Hermit Koco, who raises your attack and defence. Kocos go to the Elder Koco for Speed and Ring levels. Skill Pieces drop from enemies and fill a gauge that pays out Skill Points for the skill tree. What Every Max Means On The Islands
The Hermit Koco trades Seeds for levels, and attack and defence each stop at 99. The Elder Koco does the same with Kocos for Speed and Ring capacity, also up to 99. With a full stock of both, the upgrades wait only on finding the two old Kocos on each island. Skill Points buy moves like Phantom Rush, and trophy guides count 224 of them for Sonic's full tree. On a normal run, that means a lot of Skill Pieces from a lot of fights.
Amy's Memory Tokens are the heart-shaped pickups on Kronos Island. They free Amy from Cyber Space and unlock her conversations with Sonic. Fill the ring counter and you can trigger a Power Boost, a stretch of unlimited boosting.
Big's Fishing Spot, Fully Funded
Big the Cat runs a fishing spot behind a purple portal on most islands. Each cast costs Purple Coins: one on Kronos Island, two on Ares, four on Chaos and eight on Ouranos. Catches pay out Treasure Tokens, and Big's trade list sells Seeds, Kocos, Portal Gears, Vault Keys, Memory Tokens and Skill Pieces for them. A Gold Card buys any single item on that list, and the game spends your Gold Cards first. With all three currencies maxed, Big's counter works like a second shop for everything the islands hide.
The 41-Trophy Platinum
Trophy guides rate it 2 out of 10 and put it at 20-25 hours in one playthrough, with no missables and no online trophies. The story runs through four Titans: Giganto on Kronos, Wyvern on Ares, Knight on Chaos and Supreme on Ouranos. A Land at Peace, a gold, waits after the final fight. Threats Identified, the other gold, wants all 18 guardian types defeated, from Ninja and Asura to the Caterpillar and Master Ninja.
The rest is island work. Each island has an Explorer trophy for clearing every map challenge and a Memories trophy for repairing every portal. Expert Historian, one of the rarest on the list, wants every side story with Amy, Knuckles, Tails and Sage. Four trophies ask for Power, Defense, Ring and Speed at max. Unrivaled Aptitude wants every skill unlocked, and Combo Crackerjack wants 50 Phantom Rushes. Angler's Club wants every catch at one of Big's fishing spots.
