The Kameo Grind
Rollin' With My Krew asks for full mastery with five Kameo fighters, and it decides how long this platinum takes. Trophy guides put the whole list at around 30 hours. About half of that goes on those five masteries, even with the fastest method. Normal play is far slower. You can earn every other trophy without mastering a single Kameo. Players who grind it end their matches with Brutalities, which pay more Kameo experience than Fatalities and play out faster.
Invasions, Seasons And The Titan
Invasions is the seasonal board mode, and it carries most of the list. Its trophies want Invasions level 20, a Secret Fight, a Survival encounter, an Ambush, five Test Your Might encounters, Relics, Talismans and Keys. Vanquished wants the final boss of a season, and an unfinished season wipes your progress when it ends.
The Mighty Have Fallen wants a Titan Battle. Each Titan is only open for four days. The first one, Baraka, only arrived as season one closed, so nobody could finish the list at launch.
Finishers, Towers And Story Mode
The finisher trophies are a tour of the roster: 20 different Fatalities, 10 different Brutalities and 10 different Kameo Fatalities. The tower trophies want a Klassic Tower cleared with five different characters, ten tower endings and a total score of 5,000,000 in the Towers of Time. The original story runs 15 chapters. The only gold, What Just Happened??, wants all of it, and Who Was That??? asks you to finish Chapter 15 a second time.
The rest is housekeeping: 10,000 Koins spent at the Shrine, 10,000 Seasonal Kredits spent, an hour in Practice and the full credits. Online, you play five Kombat League sets, dethrone a King in King of the Hill and land a taunt without being interrupted.
PS5, Servers And DLC
On PlayStation, Mortal Kombat 1 is a PS5 game with a single trophy list, and that list is the one we complete. Most of the list leans on the game's servers, since Invasions, Towers of Time and your profile progress run online. Khaos Reigns isn't needed for the platinum, and neither is any other paid content.
