The Modern Warfare 4 Beta hands out its rewards two different ways: a level track that runs to Level 30, and a completely separate kill-count unlock for the LITMUS special camo at 1,500 Operator kills. They are earned independently, and LITMUS is the one most players run out of time on.

LITMUS is not on the level track at all — it is earned purely on kill count, which is why finishing the Beta at Level 30 does not get you the camo. 1,500 Operator kills is a serious amount of playtime to fit inside a short, limited Beta window, and once that window closes the camo can never be earned again.

Early Access – Weekend One (August 21–25): capped at Beta Level 20, but Operator kills count from the very first match, so we start on LITMUS straight away.
Open Beta – Weekend Two (August 28–September 1): the cap rises to Level 30 and the remaining level rewards unlock. The Beta ends September 1, and with it the last chance to earn any of these rewards.
LITMUS is a special weapon camo exclusive to the MW4 Beta. Unlike the eight level-based rewards, it is not tied to your Beta rank at all — it unlocks only after 1,500 Operator kills, and appears under Special Camos once earned.
