Note: This guide shows where Supply Drop Call Stations can appear on Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City, plus the exact steps to call a Supply Drop for the A Better Use quest. It does not cover loot tables, PvP meta, or endgame farming routes.
In ARC Raiders, Supply Drops are one of the fastest ways to finish the A Better Use quest and grab early attachments. The problem is that the Supply Call Station icon does not show from across the map, and not every match makes a station easy to find.
This matters most on your first few raids, when you are still learning landmarks and you do not want to waste an entire run wandering for a single antenna icon.
This guide fixes that by showing the most reliable Call Station areas, then giving you a clean step list to call the drop, track the flare, and breach the tube.
It will not teach combat, rotations, or how to win a contested drop. It only gets you to the station and through the quest objective.
Goal:Find a Call Station and request a Supply Drop
Call Station Map Icon
Find It Faster
High
The antenna icon only appears when you are close. Your route should be built around that.
Buried City Call Stations
Fast Urban Checks
Medium
Buried City stations are usually faster to sweep because the landmarks are tighter.
Dam Battlegrounds Call Stations
Bigger Map
Low
Dam has multiple reliable areas, but it can take longer to confirm a station spawn.
ARC Raiders Supply Drop Decision Forks
If you only need the A Better Use completion: go to Section 8 and follow the exact call steps. Do not overthink the location list.
If you are on Dam Battlegrounds: go to Section 6. The Hydroponic Dome Complex is a common first check.
If you are on Buried City: go to Section 5. The highway and east-side buried buildings are the fastest sweeps.
If this feels impossible in one match: go to Section 4. You may be in a run where the station is already used or too contested.
ARC Raiders Call Station Not Working
This is the most common reason people think the mechanic is bugged. Often, the station is real, but you cannot use it right now.
Walk up to the console at the base of the antenna.
If the station does not give you a prompt, back off and scan the area for other players.
Move to a second likely area instead of camping the same antenna.
If you already saw a flare earlier in the raid, assume someone else used a station.
What You Should Notice: You stop wasting time on a station that is already spent, and you start checking the next spawn lane.
Stop Here If Fixed: If you find another station with a working prompt, stop troubleshooting and go to the call steps.
ARC Raiders Call Station Map Icon
You are not supposed to see Supply Call Stations from across the map. The antenna icon appears when you are close enough, so the fastest way to find one is to sweep known areas and watch for the icon to pop.
Open your map at the start of the raid.
Move toward a major point of interest instead of wandering open ground.
Check your map again when you reach the area.
If you see an antenna icon, ping it and move straight to it.
If you do not see it, rotate to the next listed area.
What You Should Notice: The antenna icon appears only when you are inside the right neighborhood, not when you are still crossing the map.
ARC Raiders Call Station Locations
These are the fastest areas to check first. They are written so you can route to a landmark, then let the map icon confirm the exact antenna spot.
ARC Raiders Call Station Locations In Buried City
Buried City is usually the quicker map to learn for this quest. The landmarks are dense, and you can sweep multiple rooftops in one loop.
Old Town (Church Rooftop): Check the courtyard between the Church and residential blocks, often on a rooftop.
Highway Overpass (Central): The easiest landmark is the highway. Look for the antenna icon once you are close to the top of the central overpass building.
East Buried Properties (Near Buried Buildings): Sweep the east side where structures look half-buried. The antenna icon tends to appear as you approach the cluster.
Stop Here If Fixed: If you see the antenna icon on your map, stop searching and go straight to the station.
ARC Raiders Call Station Locations In Dam Battlegrounds
Dam Battlegrounds has reliable Call Station areas, but it is larger and more open, so you want a tight first sweep. Start with these three before you branch out.
South Of Water Treatment Control: Look south of Water Treatment Control, around the exterior service paths.
Hydroponic Dome Complex (Center): Check the Hydroponic Dome Complex area (the center is a commonly cited find).
Research & Administration (West Side): Sweep the west side of Research & Administration and watch for the antenna icon as you enter the zone.
Stop Here If Fixed: If you find a station prompt, stop route planning and go to the call steps before another squad arrives.
ARC Raiders Supply Drop Call Steps
Once you find a working station, do the steps fast. The flare is loud, visible, and it attracts attention. You can do this on a free loadout, but you still need enough time to breach the tube.
Walk to the console at the base of the Call Station.
Interact and confirm the request prompt.
Immediately look up and locate the flare trail.
Move toward where the flare blooms and starts descending.
Find the balloon and tube-like pod landing nearby.
Breach the tube and loot the Supply Drop.
What You Should Notice: A visible flare goes up, then a balloon-suspended pod drops nearby. After you breach it, the quest objective progresses.
ARC Raiders Supply Drop Safety
This does not change the mechanics. It reduces how often you die while trying to do the objective.
Call the drop only after you clear immediate line of sight around the station.
Relocate after the flare goes up instead of standing on the console.
Use cover while tracking the balloon.
Breach fast and move. Do not sort inventory at the pod.
What You Should Notice: You spend less time exposed at the console and pod, and more time moving with cover.
ARC Raiders Supply Drop FAQ
It is a fixed antenna-and-console spot where you can request a Supply Drop. It only shows on your map when you are close enough.
They have known possible locations, but you still need to confirm them each raid by getting close enough for the icon to appear.
No. It lands nearby. You track it by watching the flare and then the balloon pod descent.
Yes. You just need a working station, then you must breach and loot the pod before another squad takes it.
Often, another player already used it in that raid. Rotate to another known area instead of waiting.
No. You usually need to be close. That is why the location sweep matters more than staring at the map in spawn.
They can breach and loot it. If your quest does not progress, you will need to call and loot another drop in a later raid.
For the objective itself, the important part is calling and looting. Extraction requirements can vary by quest step, so watch the quest tracker.
It is a tube-like container suspended under a balloon. You breach it to open it, then loot it.
Buried City is often easier to sweep quickly because landmarks are closer. Dam Battlegrounds works too if you route straight to a known area.
