Type: Primary Unlock Path

This is the normal Acid Lab route. Rockstar starts it with a call from Ron Jakowski, then pushes you into the First Dose story chain. For the cleanest unlock tracking, do the chain on your own hosted path.

This is the step many old guides skip. Finishing Off the Rails does not make the business live by itself. You still need the separate Setup: Acid Lab Equipment mission and the real installation purchase at The Freakshop.

This route skips the First Dose chain. The current direct purchase path is the MTL Brickade 6×6 from Warstock Cache & Carry. Current listings place it at GTA$1,450,000, and Rockstar describes the Warstock version as including Acid Lab installation.

Open Warstock Cache & Carry in GTA Online.
Buy the MTL Brickade 6×6.
Wait for the purchase to finish.
Open the Interaction Menu.
Open Services.
Check for Acid Lab access.

What You Should Notice: The Interaction Menu should show Services > Acid Lab, and the Brickade 6×6 should be tied to that access.

Stop Here If Fixed: If you can enter the lab and start sourcing supplies, you do not need the mission route or the stuck checks.

GTA Online Acid Lab Equipment Upgrade

Type: Optional Upgrade

This is optional. It is not part of the initial Acid Lab unlock. A lot of guides mix up this GTA$250,000 Equipment Upgrade with the real GTA$750,000 installation cost.

Complete Fooligan Jobs until you reach 10 total.
Return to The Freakshop.
Buy the Equipment Upgrade for GTA$250,000.

What You Should Notice: The optional Equipment Upgrade becomes installed on your Acid Lab. This can improve production, but it is not required to get the business.

GTA Online Acid Lab Not Unlocking

Use these checks only if you finished one route and the Acid Lab still is not showing up where it should.

Type: Root Cause Check

If you only joined another player’s First Dose missions, your own progression can stay incomplete. Do the chain on your own hosted path if the unlock did not stick.

Go back to your own First Dose mission chain.
Replay any missing mission on your hosted path.
Finish Off the Rails on your hosted path if needed.
Check for Setup: Acid Lab Equipment.

What You Should Notice: Your own character progression should move forward instead of relying on someone else’s hosted run.

If you finished Off the Rails but never stole the extra equipment, the business is still incomplete. This is the most common point where players stop too early.

Confirm that Off the Rails is complete on your own progression path.
Look for Setup: Acid Lab Equipment.
Finish that setup mission.
Deliver the equipment to The Freakshop.
Pay the GTA$750,000 installation fee.

What You Should Notice: The Acid Lab should become available as soon as the installation purchase is completed.

GTA Online Acid Lab Warstock Check

Type: Diagnostic Check

Use this only if you chose the direct purchase path. The Acid Lab is tied to the MTL Brickade 6×6, not the standard MTL Brickade.

Confirm you purchased the MTL Brickade 6×6 from Warstock Cache & Carry.
Open the Interaction Menu.
Open Services.
Check for Acid Lab.
Go to The Freakshop.
Check whether the Brickade 6×6 is stored there.

What You Should Notice: If you bought the correct vehicle, the Acid Lab should be attached to that Brickade route rather than a separate property screen.
