All GTA 5 Treasure Hunt Locations (with Pictures)
Most “all GTA 5 Treasure Hunt locations” guides blur three different things together. In GTA Online, you do not visit 20 photo clues in one run. You get one random starting photo, then three fixed clues, then one final chest location.
That mistake wastes time for players trying to unlock the Double-Action Revolver. If your current run starts at Del Perro Pier, the other 19 opening photos are not active at the same time.
This guide fixes that with the real mission structure, exact landmark names, and picture-backed cards for every possible start, every fixed clue, and every final chest site. It does not cover the Stone Hatchet, the Navy Revolver, or unrelated collectible loops.
Treasure Hunt Assumptions
Treasure Hunt Flow
The clean way to think about this mission is simple. One email photo starts the run. Three fixed clues follow. One final chest ends it.
Use The Real Order
Wait for the [email protected] email, match the opening photo, inspect that one start note, clear the three fixed clues in any order, then go to the marked final chest.
- Stay in one GTA Online session until the Treasure Hunt email appears on your iFruit.
- Open the email and match the picture to the correct start card below.
- Search inside the yellow question-mark area and listen for the wind chime.
- Inspect the first note.
- Clear the three fixed clues in any order.
- Follow the yellow chest icon and open the final case.
Treasure Hunt Forks

Go to Treasure Hunt Final Chest. The start photo and the fixed clues are already done.
Stop here. This guide does not apply to GTA V Story Mode.
Go back to Treasure Hunt Flow. The hunt can restart if you leave before finishing.

These are all 20 possible opening photo locations. Only one appears per run. Each card uses the exact landmark first, then the common guide label where needed.
- Match your email photo to the grayscale image on a card.
- Inspect the exact object named on the card.
- Ignore the other start cards in this run once the first note is found.
