Where to Find & How to Get Rusted Gear in ARC Raiders

Eyes In The Sky is a Shani quest in ARC Raiders that asks you to install three LiDAR Scanners at high points across Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City.

This trips up players who can find the landmarks, but get blocked by rooftop routing, liftshaft turrets, or the Galleria sign zipline angle.

This guide fixes that by giving you clean step routes to each placement so the objective can update. It does not cover extraction paths, loot farming, or fight coaching.

ARC Raiders Eyes In The Sky Quest Roadmap

You can deploy the three LiDAR Scanners in any order. This roadmap lists the easiest placement first so you can lock progress early.

1. Complete the Spaceport Communications Tower placement.
2. Complete the Dam Battlegrounds Control Tower roof placement.
3. Complete the Buried City Galleria sign placement with a Zipline.

ARC Raiders Eyes In The Sky Quest Forks

Use these quick decision forks to avoid repeating the hardest part over and over.

1. If Buried City keeps killing your runs: do Spaceport first, then Dam, and leave Galleria sign for last.
2. If you do not have a Zipline ready: start with Spaceport, then confirm your quest granted items include Zipline x1 before you queue Buried City.
3. If you cannot find the tripod prompt: you are usually on the wrong height level, so keep climbing until you reach the topmost accessible platform and look for a tripod.

ARC Raiders Spaceport Communications Tower

Objective: On Spaceport, install a LiDAR Scanner at the Communications Tower.

1. Queue into a Spaceport raid with Eyes In The Sky active.
2. Travel to the Communications Tower on the east side of the map.
3. Find the yellow ladder at the base of the tower.
4. Climb the ladder until you reach the platform.
5. Follow the platform walkway to the tripod.
6. Interact with the tripod to place the LiDAR Scanner.

ARC Raiders Dam Battlegrounds Control Tower

Objective: On Dam Battlegrounds, install a LiDAR Scanner at the top of the Control Tower.

This placement is commonly the most contested because Control Tower is a high traffic landmark. The fastest route uses the liftshaft zipline and a rooftop breach door.

1. Queue into a Dam Battlegrounds raid with Eyes In The Sky active.
2. Reach the Control Tower landmark.
3. Approach from the south side stairs to reach the main floor level.
4. Run down the long exterior hallway and enter the building.
5. Go straight to the breachable door that leads into the liftshaft.
6. Look up and shoot any turrets before taking the upward zipline.
7. Ride the upward zipline to the top floor.
8. Follow the corridor and breach the door that leads to the roof.
9. On the roof, move forward and slightly left to the tripod.
10. Interact with the tripod to place the LiDAR Scanner.

ARC Raiders Buried City Galleria Sign

Objective: On Buried City, install a LiDAR Scanner on top of the Galleria sign.

This placement is the trickiest because you need a Zipline to reach the sign walkway. Most failed attempts come from placing the Zipline too low.

1. Queue into a Buried City raid with at least one Zipline available.
2. Travel to Galleria on the east side of the map.
3. Approach the Galleria area from the south.
4. Climb the square structures south of Galleria to gain height.
5. Cross the makeshift bridge to reach the Galleria rooftop.
6. Move toward the tall sign pillar area on the roof.
7. Aim your Zipline at the upper walkway near the top of the Galleria sign and place it.
8. Ride the Zipline up and land on the walkway.
9. Interact with the tripod on the walkway to place the LiDAR Scanner.

ARC Raiders LiDAR Scanner Tripod Prompt

Type: Diagnosis. Use this when you are at the landmark but cannot get the placement to trigger.

1. Confirm you are on the correct map for the objective you are trying to complete.
2. Confirm you reached the correct landmark height level, not a mid-floor balcony.
3. Walk directly up to the tripod and pause for the interaction prompt.
4. Circle the tripod slowly to re-trigger the interaction angle.
5. If the prompt still never appears, leave and retry the placement in a new raid.

ARC Raiders Zipline Placement

Type: Symptom reducer. Use this when you fall short of the Galleria sign walkway.

1. Stand on the Galleria rooftop with a clear line of sight to the sign pillar.
2. Aim your Zipline higher than the mid-level railings and ledges.
3. Attach the Zipline to the upper walkway area near the top of the sign.
4. Ride the Zipline and be ready to adjust your landing with a small movement input.
5. If you have more than one Zipline, keep a spare for a second attempt.
