All ARC Raiders Quests in Order – Full List & How Many Total Quests

With A Trace is a Shani quest in ARC Raiders that sends you to two named points of interest on The Blue Gate. The objective text can look simple, but the tracking can advance early and the final interaction is easy to miss.

This walkthrough shows the fastest reliable path by using POI names on the in-game map and the exact interact objects.

We cover Barren Clearing, the Investigate prompt on the ARC wreck, Adorned Wreckage, and the yellow computer that ends the quest. We do not cover loadout theory, spawn manipulation, or other missions.

With A Trace Quest Checklist

This is a diagnostic check. It prevents wasted time when you are on the wrong map or not on the correct quest step.

1. Start a run on The Blue Gate.
2. Confirm your objective text shows With A Trace as the active quest.
3. Confirm your first objective reads Reach the Barren Clearing.
4. Open the in-match map and find the POI label Barren Clearing on the west side.
5. Locate Adorned Wreckage south of Barren Clearing so you know your second stop.

With A Trace Quest Forks

Use these forks when your objective does not match what you are seeing. Each fork points to the fastest fix for that symptom.

1. If Step 1 completes early: go to With A Trace Barren Clearing Location and continue anyway. This step can progress from far away.
2. If you see no Investigate prompt in Barren Clearing: go to With A Trace Investigate Prompt and reposition to the southwest side of the main wreck.
3. If Adorned Wreckage will not complete: go to With A Trace Yellow Computer. The final interaction is not on the big wreck.
4. If you completed the yellow computer but died: go to With A Trace Quest Turn In. The quest can still be claimable in Speranza.

With A Trace Barren Clearing Location

This is the root cause fix for Step 1. Barren Clearing is a named POI on the west side of The Blue Gate, directly west of Raider’s Refuge.

1. Open the in-match map.
2. Find the POI label Raider’s Refuge.
3. Move west until you reach the POI label Barren Clearing.
4. Look for a tree-less clearing with multiple downed ARC machines.
5. Approach the large multi-legged ARC machine near the center.

With A Trace Investigate Prompt

This is the interaction that completes the Barren Clearing portion. The correct target is a spherical joint near a severed leg on the southwest side of the main wreck.

1. Stand near the main ARC machine body in the center of Barren Clearing.
2. Move to the southwest side of the wreck.
3. Find the severed leg and look for a round spherical joint on the ground near it.
4. Walk up until you see the on-screen prompt Investigate.
5. Interact once to complete this step.

With A Trace Adorned Wreckage Location

This is the root cause fix for reaching the second POI. Adorned Wreckage is a named POI south of Barren Clearing, near Trapper’s Glade and Raider’s Refuge.

1. Open the in-match map at Barren Clearing.
2. Find the POI label Adorned Wreckage south of Barren Clearing.
3. Move toward Adorned Wreckage while using Trapper’s Glade as a nearby reference POI.
4. Slow down as you enter the POI, because Arc enemies and other players can be nearby.
5. Locate the large structure covered in cables and dish-like parts.

With A Trace Yellow Computer

This is the final interaction. The communications device is a yellow computer on a desk beside a smaller wreck piece, not the main wreck itself.

1. Stand near the main Adorned Wreckage structure.
2. Look for a smaller cylindrical or rocket-like wreck piece close by.
3. Find the yellow computer on a table or makeshift desk next to that smaller wreck.
4. Interact with the yellow computer.
5. Extract if you want to keep loot from the run, but treat the quest as complete once the interaction is done.

With A Trace Quest Turn In

This is the reward claim step. The quest can complete without extraction, but the rewards are claimed by talking to Shani in Speranza.

1. Return to Speranza.
2. Talk to Shani.
3. Claim the With A Trace rewards.
